Past Due: Money & Life Boot Camp
The Past Due: Money & Life Boot Camp was created in response to two specific needs:
The Boot Camp uses sound financial principles to help participants create a savings goal, develop a budget, and eliminate debt. The five-part program is designed to meet people right where they are and help them cross the most pressing financial hurdles they currently face. Even better, these participants get help from someone live and in person. For coaches around the country, the Boot Camp is a fantastic vehicle to demonstrate your expertise and heart for helping others reach their goals. You can facilitate your own groups and deliver the material in your own way. You don’t have to stand behind us (or anyone else for that matter); we took all the references to Lukas Coaching out of the workbook. You get to be front and center, teaching and answering questions!
The Boot Camp Lessons A Penny Saved is a Penny Earned: We begin our paradigm shift around saving by understanding what three things you can do with money, how to create a beginner emergency fund, and why saving is critical to short and long-term financial plans. Relationships & Money: Upbringing, personality traits, and the way you relate with others have serious financial implications! From building strong accountability relationships to teaching your kids about money, we’ll even cover how to have productive conversations about money if you’re married. Cash Flow Planning: Ever wonder why it feels like there’s too much month at the end of the money? Whether married or single, we’re going to focus on creating a monthly spending plan that actually works and will help you achieve your goals. This lesson is jam packed with our budgeting resources and worksheets. Debt Disposal: 75% of the Forbes 400 say they became wealthy by avoiding one thing: debt! We’ll dispel the debt myths our culture tries to sell us and unpack the process thousands of families across the country have used to become debt free! Risky Business: Let's face it; the topic of insurance doesn't exactly get us out of bed in the morning. We know we need insurance to drive and for our homes, and even if we die, but usually that's about it. What if not fully understanding your insurance costs you hundreds of dollars each year in unnecessary premiums? We’ll discuss what insurance you need for a balanced financial plan and what to avoid with a ten-foot pole.
