Are You in the Dumps?

by Justin Lukasavige on November 1, 2009

It’s true, many people are down on their luck after a job loss, an investment decline or some other circumstance. It’s easy even for business owners to feel like they’re on their own in the world of business.

I had an interesting question this week that made me wonder…

“If you’re down in life right now, do you want to be surrounded with people who are also experiencing difficulties, or would you like to hang out with people who are doing great?”

After I thought about it (for about .0005 seconds) I came to the conclusion that I want to be hanging out with a bunch of people who are doing incredibly awesome right now!

Imagine the uplifting feeling you’ll get from hanging out with other people at the top of their game!

I’m not talking about people who are doing well and will rub it in your face, but from people who genuinely want to help you achieve the same thing.

That’s why I’m going on a cruise with some great friends in February. If you want to learn from the same people I’ve spent the last few years mentoring with I hope you’ll join me.  The workshops are free but you must follow the directions when registering.

Join in the discussion below. Would you rather hang out with people at the same level as you, below you, or better than you? A good mix of these is what I’ve found to be helpful for me.
