What is Career and Life Coaching?
Career and Life Coaching is a process designed to help you first plan the life you want to live for you and your family, and then plan your career around that life.

The common view in our culture is that we have to work to provide for our families, even if that means working at a job we do not like.

While it is true that we have a responsibility to provide for the needs of our family, we believe that it is irresponsible not to use the gifts we have been given to work with passion! How would it feel to actually enjoy your job?

Don’t be embarrassed if you don’t know what you want to be when you grow up. This is the most common initial phrase we hear – even from competent, successful professionals with CEO level positions and half-million dollar salaries. This is a process of continual change and refocusing your strengths.

Why a Career and Life Coach?
If your car is not working right, you can spend time trying to figure out the problem, then drive to the auto parts store, buy the parts and try to fix it yourself. With any luck (and probably a lot of work) that may fix the problem.

The other option to is find someone that enjoys that process and can do the job very quickly and efficiently. Sure it will cost you money, but why would you struggle through a process that you really do not enjoy?

The same is true of coaching. Many of us have have had coaches in our lives that have put us on the fast track towards reaching our goals. A coach is someone who has invested much time in becoming proficient in a particular area. The coach has to be not only a good listener, but also a good teacher, planner and motivator, and focused 100% on helping you obtain results.
